BUGS. I know the 5e version of tavern brawler is different but according to the BG3 version you should add double your str modifier to unarmed strikes. However when testing this it only seemed to work with your default unarmed strike as a monk with no weapon equipped. It doesn't seem to work with flurry of blows which I can technically understand.
